Adult Summer Break: Miami Summer 2023An active social club for locals who are in Miami for the summer and are seeking fun, play and joy and reconnecting with the simple pleasures of childhood summers.Programming runs June 21 through August 31, 2023 and the summer 2023 membership is $150. Events range from free to <$50.Sample events: ice cream social, pool, beach, watersports, day trips, local events & festivals, concerts, movies, arts & crafts and more.

Event prices range from free-$50
Event size is 10-20 people
There will be 2-4 formal events/month and other casual meetups
Events will generally be weekday evenings and weekends.
Founder StoryHi! I'm Rachel. I am a startup operator by day and an adventurer by nights and weekends. You can often find me at concerts, art events, snorkeling and standup paddle boarding.I've done two cross-country moves in the last 10 years moving to new cities where I don't know anyone (D.C.-->Seattle; Seattle-->Miami).I have now lived in Miami ~2.5 years. I've enjoyed getting to know this community and living in a tropical paradise.The last two summers, I was out of town a lot. As summer 2023 arrived, I found myself in town this summer and wanting to do fun things with cool people, and also wanting a change of pace from dinners, bars and networking events. I figured I am not alone in this desire, so let me launch this project!Miami is the most seasonal city I have ever lived in. There is a large snowbird population that is in town generally between October-May. Then, a lot of locals clear out from June-September. Adult Summer Break's goal is to create community with locals in Miami who are in town this summer and want to have fun local adventures together.
